Not surprisingly, all of the top 15 persons are based in Hong Kong. Most of them have Canton opera background, appearing in many Canton opera movies of 50's and 60's. Ghu Gei is the most prolific director, who had directed 236 films over 28 years. The only person who is active and not mainly an actor is Wong Jing, who's renowned for making movies quickly and cheaply. He himself appears in many movies.
